Your new LinkedIn banner, headline and Featured

Five options, each a different layout. Pick one number and use that option's banner, headline and Featured tile together. Every option sends people to your free resume template with the keyword “RESUME”, the same one you used on your best post (629 reactions, 323 comments). Each banner is shown at real phone size too, so you can see it reads.

How to put it live

  1. Pick one option below.
  2. Upload the banner. It's already 1584 × 396.
  3. Paste the headline into Edit intro.
  4. Featured → Add a link → the page where people get your resume template, then upload the tile as its image.
  5. Reply to every “RESUME” with the template, then the DM below.

Five options

Option 1Your current banner, made stronger: same line, your face, and the companies your clients now work at. The one we'd pick.

The one-shot DM

Send it to anyone who likes or comments on your posts, or who's just connected. Swap the highlighted bits for each person.

Hey [FIRST NAME], I'm about to head out the door to walk the dog, so I wanted to send this before I forget.

I saw you [liked / commented on] my post about [TOPIC] (or: thanks for connecting!).

I'm Regan. I run Weekly Commit, and we help senior engineers and tech leaders land their next offer.

Your profile reminded me of [CLIENT NAME], a client I just spoke with.

[He/She] was [X] months into the search and kept making the final round with no offer. [RESULT].

Most of the time the experience isn't the problem. It's how it reads on the resume and how it comes out in the interview. So we fix the resume first, then run mock interviews until the story lands.

It's taken 300+ clients and 1,000+ mock interviews to dial this in. The average raise is $87K.

Right now we've got an offer where we negotiate your offer for you, and you only pay if we get you at least 10% more.

As you can imagine, the ATS black hole isn't a big fan of us haha.

Anyway, I really gotta go, [DOG'S NAME] is waiting by the door.

Happy to walk you through how it works. I've got [TIME 1] or [TIME 2] free tomorrow?

If not, no biggie. Happy to just send you my free resume template instead.

Nice to meet you!

Cheers,
Regan

Before it goes live

  • A link for the template: the Featured slot needs a page where people get it. Your weeklycommit.com footer says “Resume templates” but the link goes nowhere, and the newsletter signup page doesn't mention the template. Either put the template on that signup page and its welcome email, or send us a link to use.
  • Your booking page: “Book a Discovery Call” and the contact form on weeklycommit.com show a “confirmed” screen but don't send the booking or the message anywhere. Anyone who books there right now is lost. Worth wiring it to your real calendar before more people land on it.
  • One set of numbers: your headline says $35M in offers landed, your current banner and Experience say $20M+, and your site says $50M+ negotiated. Your success rate is 99% on LinkedIn and 98.78% on the site, and the refund is a full refund on one page and 50% on another. The kit only uses 300+ clients and the $87K average raise, which match everywhere. Pick one of each before you add the others back.
  • Nvidia: option 5 quotes your February 2025 post (“interviews at Google, Meta, and Nvidia”). Keep it only if you're still happy to stand behind it.
